Welcome to - CAT3 Business Systems

At CAT3 we make the development of a website as simple as possible.
Initially we will visit you at your business premises in order that we can fully understand the goals and objectives of your business. At this meeting we will also discuss design concepts with you, including sites you like and do not like. This discussion would also include your current branded position and its suitability for the Internet.

Following that meeting we will prepare a proposal that will detail the benefits to be gained from a successful Internet presence and how we propose to achieve those benefits. Included in the proposal would be a site plan that would detail the navigation and functional capability of the proposed website.

If you find the proposal acceptable we would then ask you for a 50% deposit against the cost of the solution. At that point we would immediately commence work on developing a unique 'look and feel' design for your website, which would detail the navigational design of the site as defined in the site map. We would discuss the design of the site with you through the necessary iterations of the design until we are sure we have a design that will meet the needs of your business and your clients.

Whilst the site is being developed the shell of the site is being compiled and tested. Once your design is completed and signed off we will then integrate the design into the shell of the site. At this stage the functionality of the site is being tested and the site will be available on a development server. It is now time for the text and images of the site to be entered into the site. The responsibility for supplying the words and pictures is always the responsibility of the client, as you know your business best. CAT3 will always offer help and advise to ensure that suitably catchy headlines, compelling calls to action, and benefit rich content is included in your site. We will also carry out keyword research to ensure that all main pages are search engine friendly.

At the conclusion of this process the site is ready to go live. You will have seen the site extensively and be happy to agree that the site can go live. At this point we will send you the invoice for the final payment.

The anticipated time to complete the above process is never fixed but it is usual that from the acceptance of the final design to the 'go-live' is approximately 6 - 8 weeks dependant upon a number of factors including the number of pages in the site, the size of the product catalogue or the functional complexity of the site. At the proposal stage we will always give you an estimate of the expected duration of the project.
